What is LPN exactly? I didn't understand its meaning by reading oracle documents.

Hi, LPN stands for License Plate Number.

Typically, it represents the item in the warehouse (via a barcode). For example, if we are storing pallets in the warehouse, it is a good practice if we have a LPN representing each pallet.

LPN means license plate number, its a barcode process during shipping and packing process.

A (license plate number (LPN) is any object that holds items. Although LPNs are associated with containers, they do not need to represent a physical entity, such as a box.
