Someone can enlighten me? Thanks.
Let me try to answer this..
Logistics:
Scope: Typically within a company.
Activities: Procurement, distribution, inventory management
Supply Chain:
Scope: Across different companies (end-to-end)
Activities: Procurement, distribution, inventory management, marketing, finance, customer service
Operations:
Scope: Focus on the physical storage and movement of the inventory
Warehousing:
Scope: Purely on the activities when the inventory are within the 4 walls
Logistics and supply chain are used interchangeably often.
Same goes for warehousing and operations.
