What's the job scope of an industrial engineer in the warehousing/3PL industry?

My previous experience in 3PL industry as an industrial engineer comprised of the following responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement projects (this includes process improvement)
- Time motion study
- Waste reduction using different methodologies (DMAIC, LEAN, VSM, fish bone etc)
- Manpower utilization
- Warehouse layout design (for new sites and operations)/ re-design (for existing sites and operations)
- Supply Chain Network Analysis
- Aiding the costing/tender team in solutioning for new RFP

I thought IE is more well known for manufacturing industry. Didn't know that they work in logistics industry as well.
